Description of Workshop: No matter how busy you are, it is possible to find more time to write, grow your author platform, and make strides towards getting published, by being better organized. In this workshop, Sally Meadows will review best practices in organization by identifying your “why,” effective goal-setting, how to make the most efficient use of your time, the most effective ways of building your audience, and strategies to improve your chances of accomplishing your goal of getting published.
Powering Up Your Live Presentations with Danica Lorer:
Making connections, busting nerves, holding onto wandering attention spans, facing unpredictable age and literacy levels, and watching teachers on their phones – reaching audiences can take work, but it’s worth it. From your first reading at an open mic to school visits your voice and confidence make your words come to life. This will be a participatory workshop with tips and tricks to take forward.
