"Produce, Polish, Publish and Promote"
How does the acting process and the creation of character intersect in the world of a writer’s imagination? What writing skills can be developed by studying the craft of acting in preparing a writer to inhabit and express the soul of another human being in stories? How can we, as writers, learn through the study of acting to develop and build complex, multi-dimensional and truthful characters who ‘drive’ our writing, rather than have our writing ‘drive’ the characters?. Join us for this workshop as we, together, explore and ‘flesh out’ the answers to these question and more.
Note: In order to keep us in the flow, please bring your own snacks and lunch to have on-site.
Format (as time permits): practical physical exercises, improvisation, written assignments and group discussion.
