A Farewell to Wes Funk

  • 25 Aug 2015
  • 7:00 PM
  • McNally Robinson Booksellers 3130 8th Street East Saskatoon

Join McNally Robinson as we say goodbye to local author Wes Funk, as he relocates to his new home in Edmonton. Hosted by Kevin Stanfield, with special guests and refreshments.

Wes Funk is a Saskatchewan-born writer and broadcaster. He has published three novels, a chapbook of poetry and short stories, and a memoir. Wes has hosted over 150 episodes of Shaw TV's Lit Happens, a weekly talk show that showcases Saskatchewan's literary talent.

A love of the prairie lifestyle, a strong belief in diversity, and a passion for music are strong themes in Wes's books. His first novel Dead Rock Stars has been incorporated into various curricula and Cherry Blossoms won a 2013 CBC Bookie Award.
